The Litigation Trainer is responsible for training new litigation employees and providing supplemental training as needed on updated or new processes built within the team


  • Confers with management to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.
  • Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
  • Coordinates training schedule with the hiring and training demands Litigation in conjunction with the Litigation Managers
  • Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training
  • Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
  • Makes suggestions on improving work procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.


Job Qualifications:

Education, Formal Training, or Certificates:

  • Undergraduate degree in Law, Business or equivalent experience preferred


  • Minimum two (2) years experience in legal collections.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to meet deadlines and perform tasks in a high-stress environment.
  • Maintains a high degree of attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and troubleshoot complicated legal tasks.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel required.

Working Environment:

  • Majority of this position will be in a professional office environment.
  • Sitting 80%, Standing/Walking 20%.
  • Will type, write, use finger dexterity, talk, hear, and see (up close and moderate distances) as a normal part of job duties.
  • Will occasionally need to lift up to 50 lbs.
