Administrative Assistant

The Collections Administrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of data in consumer accounts through careful internal auditing checks, processing mail, faxes and online information from our consumers and completing the transition process of consumer accounts.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year previous experience in a customer service oriented administrative or reception position required
  • Previous experience with a collections management system (CLS) preferred but not required 
  • Previous experience processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Legal industry experience a plus 
  • Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, clients and consumers
  • Full-time Monday through Friday with some Saturday availability required
  • Must meet strict deadlines, reach attainable goals, and handle multiple priorities at the same time
  • Proven ability to meet key performance indicators in a fast-paced, professional, work environment
  • Exhibits exceptional verbal and written communication skills and customer service provision
  • Types 50 Words per minute or more


  • Receive, sort and distribute mail, faxes and online contacts from consumers on a daily basis
  • Ensure consumer letters have proper coding and collaborate with internal departments to maintain the integrity of consumers data
  • Identify when consumer accounts are moved internally from one representative to the next and perform the move through the system
  • Coordinate audits with internal departments to ensure company is compliant
  • Receive, monitor and assign files to account representatives through MS excel
  • Schedule deviation and track all account representatives attendance, tardy and late times in MS excel to create reports of data
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Hourly range: $14-$15 with an opportunity for a raise after a 90 day performance evaluation
